Peppermint oil is valued for its good cooling and pain-relieving effect. The herb is believed to tonify and improve digestion. Applied to the skin, it has the property of relieving the unpleasant sensation caused by itching or inflammation. In massage blends, it is suitable for tense and tight painful muscles. In aromatherapy, the oil is mainly used to stimulate mental concentration and eliminate fatigue. It is believed to stimulate the chakras. Used in aromatic compositions, it combines well with essential oils of jasmine, lavender, bergamot and sandalwood.
The oil is highly concentrated and should not be applied undiluted to the skin.
Like any essential oil, it should be diluted with one of our well-known base oils (almond, coconut, olive, etc.). Two-three drops of the oil are diluted with 50 milliliters of base oil.

Peppermint oil is a carminative and helps eliminate excess gas. It acts as an appetite tonic and helps with bloating, abdominal pain, nausea and stomach upset.
